Harbour Business
Polperro is a Trust Port which is managed by volunteers elected from the local community
The Trust was established in 1894 by a separate Act of Parliament. We do not receive any Government funding so our operating and maintenance costs are sourced from income such as mooring fees, property rent, income from the Heritage Museum and your generous donations.

Harbour Policies
The Trust was formed in 1894 and has it own Act of Parliament (The 1894 Polperro Harbour Act) . This sets the basic requirements for Governance together with the Ports good governance guide (PGGG). The Trust also has the authority to set bye-laws around the Harbour. Copies of these documents are available to view at the Harbour Office. Occasionally we are required to develop separate policies and we post copies of the most recent ones below. Others are also available to view at the Harbour Office.
